About me
My name is Greta Susceviciute. I am a stage director, event director, screenwriter, actress in theater and cinema, and an acting teacher. I graduated from VGIK (The Russian State University of Cinematography) in 2014. For 12 years, I lived and worked in Moscow, where I directed productions at esteemed venues such as the E. Vakhtangov Theatre, MAMT, the Bolshoi Theatre (new stage), the Gorky Moscow Art Theatre, the School of Modern Play and many others.
Following the onset of the war, I returned to Lithuania and later moved to Cyprus, where I have been involved in several creative projects for both adults and children.
Currently, I am residing in Vienna and am seeking new connections and opportunities for collaboration.

The play was performed at the Vakhtangov Theatre. |

Positioned within arm's reach of the audience, the actors candidly share personal experiences from their lives, delving into topics such as childhood, death, friendship, love, and betrayal. "Naked Stories" transcends mere psychological observations; it transforms into a concert where music plays a vital role in intertwining memories and connecting all narratives into a cohesive whole. This play promises to captivate and benefit teenagers and their parents alike. It is an ever-evolving production where your personal stories can be integrated, or you can actively participate in the performance. We outline the simple rules of engagement: life is a theater, and we are all actors within it. |
| "The Back of the Elephant" How difficult and unremarkable the life of an artist is... The main character of this satirical comedy is an unsuccessful actor who is not playing Hamlet or Uncle Vanya in the theater, but rather the rear end of an elephant in a children's matinee. His wife is planning to emigrate to Israel, a prospect that does not inspire him, but life in his home country is also not fulfilling. One day, 'polite people' come to him and make him an offer he cannot refuse. In the interests of state security, the artist begins to work 'undercover,' portraying a corrupt governor on the run. |

| DIALOGUES We aim to create a unique dialogue between characters from different works of great authors, all centered around a specific theme. For instance, let's explore the theme of POWER and gather characters from world literature who have written about it. What discussions would unfold at a secret dinner where Napoleon, Caligula, Roxalana, Antigone, and the dragon from Shvarts are seated together? What new perspectives on power would emerge from this diverse group? Alternatively, let's consider the theme of LOVE. Characters like Arkadina, Turandot, Don Juan, Pechorin, Juliette, Onegin, and Don Quixote are invited to dinner. What fresh dialogue would arise from this gathering? Will we witness varying viewpoints on love and perhaps even a new reality taking shape? |
| ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF SOLITUDE "One Hundred Years of Solitude" (original title: "Cien años de soledad") is an iconic novel by Gabriel García Márquez, published in 1967. It is considered one of the greatest works of world literature in the 20th century and a landmark example of magical realism. The ideas and thoughts of the artist-composer are successfully woven into the dramatic development of the protagonist of Chekhov's story. The production was staged together with director Nikolay Ringburg. |
| A HERO OF OUR TIME The play "A Hero of Our Time" is a philosophical clown show. Eccentricity, musical, and jester elements are combined in the performance in all its aspects: in the actors' presence, in the external action, and in a completely unexpected interpretation of the classic text. Lermontov's novel not only introduces new elements but also shines with sharp satire, irrepressible humor, and irony that subverts the conventional meanings. The play was staged in collaboration with director Nikolay Ringburg. |

Actor's Film Lab is my personal directorial experiment where we bring to life the most daring directorial and acting ideas. My goal is to create deep, artistic, and compelling films.

The person receives the recording by email or after scanning the QR code and listens to the recording on their phone with a personal headset (the audio recording is available 24 hours a day). Alternatively, they can rent a headset with the recording from the Tourist Information Centre.
