LATE LOVE
LATE LOVE
"Late Love" is a play by Alexander Ostrovsky, written in 1873. The action of the play has been reimagined in the world of Instagram, with all sets and costumes made of special shiny film. At the center of the stage is a huge inflatable flamingo symbolizing carefree life and wealth.

The character Ludmila stands out from the crowd, dressed in simple linen clothes and tending to a blooming garden. However, she is considered strange and unusual by others, relegated to a separate box as if she were a strange exhibit. Despite this, Ludmila is honest and self-sacrificing.
Ludmila falls in love with Nikolai, the son of the landlady, who is described as frivolous and irresponsible. In an attempt to save him from debt, Ludmila steals a crucial document entrusted to her father. Even though Nikolai, who is in love with another woman, ultimately hands the document to her, her romantic rival burns it.
Fortunately, it is revealed that the destroyed document was only a copy. Nikolai proves himself to be a decent man, and Ludmila is able to marry her beloved. The play was successfully performed at the Bolshoi Theatre (new stage) and the Stanislavsky Electric Theatre.
