We are creating a new, never-before-existing dialogue between Chekhov's various female characters and Chekhov himself. At the centre of the play is Anton Chekhov, to whom all his famous female characters come to meet. At one table are Nina Zarechnaya, Ranevskaya, Sonya, the Three Sisters and many others. Chekhov created amazing female images that live in his plays, stories, novels. And what would happen if we fantasise and see them all together, in one place? What would be said by different characters gathered for a secret dinner to the AUTHOR himself? What did they ask him for? How would they communicate with each other? What new dialogue would emerge, an argument or a declaration of love? Texts from the works of Anton Chekhov. I do a kind of montage or collage. The play was shown at the Vakhtangov Theatre.
